It is an actual palace, 320 years old and the innkeeper renovated it while combining modern architecture with classical style. Everything is polished, everything is new, dinner was lovely and really good, very low price as a pilgrim for this amazing albergue. You could wash, play table tennis, enjoy the view, have drinks and rest.
Very happy with this, our last stop on the Camino. Wasn't quite sure what to expect, but this was a comfortable and clean apartment converted into a Pension. We particularly appreciated the well-appointed kitchen (and a truly superb dinner at a Bar round the corner).

The double room at the pension part was better than a lot of the hotel rooms I've been in and was definitely the best designed room I've seen to cover the needs of the pilgrims on the Camino. The bathroom was spacious, clean, quickly drying. The bed was comfortable, there was a net on the window so bugs don't get in if you leave it open for fresh air. There was a self-service washing machine and dryer right next door. They also serve dinner and breakfast, which were pretty good.
Wonderful pension, great value for money, Juan is very kind. We enjoyed the dinner and breakfast (at extra charge). Very handy to be able to do washing and use kitchen.
Fantastic location in the old town. Very comfortable room, great shower and a balcony. Hosts shared many recommendations of good places for tapas or dinner, which were great and very close to the pension.
They have their own restaurant. No need to walk further for dinner. A variety of choices to pick if ala carte. Menu del dia also has a lot of choices to select at a reasonable price. Lift is available. Room is neat & clean, so is the bathroom. Hairdryer, shampoo, bath gel & soap is provided. Walking distances to restaurants, bars & Mercatos & shops. Awfully convenient. Good location for Camino route. You just walk out from this Pension & you are on your Camino route to Ribadiso.
This is a rustic guest house with everything you need. It's older but very clean and the staff is very nice. Charmingly rustic.
Spotlessly clean twin room with bathroom. Lovely woman at reception who gave us the wonderful tip to eat at Meson Roberto for dinner and Descansor for breakfast before setting off on the Camino. Highly recommend this pension.
