Set at 2,225 metres above sea level, Berghaus Männlichen offers a sun terrace with great views of the Swiss Alps, a self-service restaurant, and a children’s playground. This quietly located guest house is 12 km from Grindelwald village centre. The place and the views are phenomenal. As the cable cars stop at 5 PM, there is only you and a few other hotel guests left. Now the mountains are yours to enjoy in its serene setting. This is especially precious for a region as popular and otherwise packed with tourists as Lauterbrunnen / Jungfraujoch. For a mountiain lodge, the accomodation is still very comfortable, clean and well equipped. This was my favorite place to stay in Switzerland.

The Drei Berge Hotel is facing the three highest peaks in Switzerland and is named after them (The Three Mountains). The Jungfrau peak is protected by UNESCO and gives its name to the restaurant where you can drink water of the valley, the purest in the world. We liked everything about this hotel. The location was excellent - very close to the cable car to the Schilthorn; the staff was very friendly and accommodating; the room was large, with comfortable beds and a very modern bathroom. The included breakfast was fabulous - lots of variety, and plenty to eat. We were able to check in early, and leave our luggage in storage for a full day in the area on the day we checked out. There wasn't a request we had that the staff couldn't fulfill. We really enjoyed our stay at the Drei Berge. Would definitely recommend it to anyone traveling to Murren.

Set in Gadmen, within 35 km of Giessbachfälle and 31 km of Freilichtmuseum Ballenberg, Tälli Hütte offers accommodation with a terrace and as well as free private parking for guests who drive.

At the inn all rooms are fitted with a shared bathroom. the hut is in a beautiful location, the staff was so friendly and helpful and the provided dinner and breakfast were delicious! Very well located to explore the area!

The Hotel Steinbock is located at the edge of Lauterbrunnen opposite the train and cable car station for Grütschalp, Mürren and the Schilthorn.

The rooms offer views of the mountains including the Jungfrau, Breithorn and Ebnefluh, all over 4000 metres high. We arrived early and the owners accommodated is with an early check-in. The hotel is right by the train station and cable car.

The Alpenblick hotel is situated about 600 metres from the centre of Grindelwald, right at the ski slope and a bus stop, and offers nice rooms and tasty food.

In the restaurant and on the sunny terrace guests can select from fresh hot sandwiches, steaks, salads and desserts. Cheese fondue is available as well. Everything was good - I'd been there twice before and they kept their standards. All the benefits of a family-run business. In-house restaurant and bar, rooms and service areas are very cleanly maintained.

Directly on the shore of Lake Brienz, Boutique Hotel Bellevue Iseltwald offers a sun terrace. Guests can enjoy panoramic lake and mountain views from the terrace and benefit from free WiFi access in the entire hotel. Friendly hosts, delicious breakfast, very nice view from the balcony, comfy mattress

The Gasthof Schönegg in Goldswil is a typical Swiss Chalet Hotel with rustic-style rooms and a large terrace with panoramic views. Free WiFi is available in all rooms.

All guest room at the Schönegg guest house feature typical Alpine-style furniture. very good location, close to bus station. Nearby grocery store available. Free car parking space. very clean and traditional rooms.

The inn offers some units that feature a balcony and garden view, and all rooms have a shared bathroom and a wardrobe. At Berghaus Iffigenalp every room comes with bed linen and towels.

The nearest airport is Geneva International Airport, 178 km from the inn. The property was nice and rustic. Berghaus Iffigenalp really made you feel like you were staying in a mountain lodge. Driving to the property have your camera ready because the scenery is amazing. The breakfast cost a little extra but was well worth the price.

Set in Guttannen, 28 km from Giessbachfälle, Hotel Bären Guttannen offers accommodation with a shared lounge, free private parking, a terrace and a restaurant. 24 km from Freilichtmuseum Ballenberg, the property features ski storage space. This pet-friendly inn also has free WiFi. It’s right next to the bus stop, the room looks exactly like the pictures, all the staff was kind, helpful and Guttannen itself it’s adorable! The breakfast was ok, the shower and bathroom were always clean and working perfectly!
