The view was memorizing, the tide differential in fathoms is 5.3 meters. Constantly something different to look at. You can hear the freighters/tankers before you see them. Real was very helpful in identifying places to eat. When I woke up in the morning to dining in a room surrounded by exquisite folk art along w/exceptional Canadian painters work I thought I was in a dream. Sebastian is a true professional hotelier. No detail is overlooked.

But best of all was the staff!! Friendly, accommodating, and truly going out of their way. We had dinner one night there…hmmmmm, great food!! The portions are large and vey delicious…we didn’t expect gourmet but got it!! Location is nice, too…easy to get to Old Town Quebec…as well as other places on and off the island. Especially liked the view and how quiet it was at night.

We had a wonderful room, with lots of space to sit, great comfortable bed, en suite bath. Elegant Morocan furniture, including dressers, wardrobe, couches and so on. But the best is the most magnificent view over the fields towards the river and Quebec City. Loved it. Also, less than half an hour to downtown Quebec City, so one can easily go to the city for dinner.
Check-in very straightforward. Staff was friendly and accommodating. Room was very clean with an excellent mattress and a nice combination of modern furniture and exposed old stonework. The staff was able to help us with suggestions for dinner, found a corkscrew for wine we had purchased as well as plates from their kitchens. There is a common area on the main level that is warm and cosy.
We had dinner and breakfast at the restaurant and the food was great! The staff was friendly, the room was spacious and the place was clean.
Dinner meals were expensive but very good. People were very nice and helpful.
The hostess was charming, kind and helpful, and made delicious breakfasts! She spoke fluent English as well as French. We loved the upstairs outdoor balcony where we ate our take out dinner one evening, and there is a nice covered seating area in the backyard.. The location was across from the Plains of Abraham which is a lovely park and you can walk to Old Town but it is a bit of a hike. The B& B is on a main street with a bus route so you can take the bus back from Old Town.
Really nice room, Great value for the money. Staff was very nice and very friendly. Bar downstairs with a dinner menu.
Excellent location for vieux Quebec, convenient for the train/bus station; we stayed in a superb suite at the beginning of the trip and unhesitatingly rebooked on our return and had another bright, airy comfortable room with high ceilings. Very good breakfast; excellent restaurant attached. Really helpful staff.
The room was very quiet and the bed was very comfortable. Easy walk to restaurants for breakfast and dinner too.
Check inn was easy and room was nice. The air conditioner was extremely loud and turned on and off every 15 minutes. Staff were not overly pleasant but were still helpful. The pool area was nice but pool was small and full of kids. Price was reasonable for Quebec City and location was fine as we were just passing through. We had a lovely view of the st Lawrence from our room.
