Mrs Gabriela was extreemly polite and helpful - waited for us a few hours after the standard check in hours and arranged all the needed transfers after our stay was over. Her hispitability is on outstanding level. The breakfasts were all home made with a fair choice of dishes including hand made cakes and fully fresh scrammble egg on request. Communication was not a problem - Google translator helped in case of any doubts.

Nice breakfast with fresh fruit, juices, coffee and more. Easy walking distance to the historical center: exit the pousada and go left for a few meters to the bridge, cross the river, then head right along the river on a walking path in the shade of beautiful palm trees. Use the next bridge to cross back to the other side of the river and there you are, right in the center of Paraty's beautiful old town. I recommend Pousada Taquinha, we liked our stay there.
