The MONA Ferry Terminal is a short walk away. I loved staying at the Astor Hotel, it was like stepping back into a different era and even though Hobart is not that busy, I breathed a big sigh of relief every time I entered the Hotel. It is beautifully furnished with Art Deco glass, interesting books, sculptures and paintings and opulent vases of flowers. Tildi was very welcoming, friendly, and informative and I really enjoyed learning the history of the Hotel. The breakfast was simple but delicious, incredibly reasonable and left in a great room full of character. I would very highly recommend for anyone to stay here. A great place if you're travelling as a woman by yourself too. My room was upgraded to a double, the bed very comfortable and interesting furniture. Excellent location.

Complete with a private bathroom equipped with a shower and a hairdryer, all units at Acacia Hills Retreat have a flat-screen TV and air conditioning, and some rooms here will provide you with a terrace. All guest rooms will provide guests with a fridge. The location is absolutely stunning, it’s the perfect place for a recharge and close enough to Devonport and Sheffield that you can go out for dinner or go to the beach. The staff were incredible and our fridges were stocked with necessities free of charge. Will be staying here next time we are in Tassie? 💚

The Tasmanian Inn is located in Hobart, 800 m from Theatre Royal and less than 1km from the waterfront. Walk to Salamanca Market on Saturday in 20 minutes. Guests can enjoy the on-site bar, play billards, restaurant and lounge and free WiFi throughout the Inn. Good location, budget friendly, nice staff!

At The Quarters each room includes bed linen and towels. A wonderful stay in Strahan - and a fabulous property, which was beautifully presented. Great location too - a short walk to the sea front and ferries. Thanks again for such a great stay!

At the inn, every room is fitted with a desk, a flat-screen TV, a private bathroom, bed linen and towels. Rooms have a kettle, while some rooms will provide you with a terrace and others also provide guests with city views. All units include a wardrobe. Location was excellent, close to town and amenities. The motel at first seems a little cluttered but on closer inspection it is full of lovely little touches of art, which makes it quite quirky. Added bonus was an outside area with cooking facilities. We did not know this was available when we booked. Very quiet area at the back of the hotel where you could sit and relax. Also secure parking with gate that keeps your vehicle safe. If you have been to Mona and liked it you will love it here. Sunny was so welcoming and extremely helpful. He made our stay special by being so lovely. Photos taken after our stay, beds were mad up perfectly before the photo.
