The hostess is very accommodating & friendly. She made us a delicious breakfast; seating on large outdoor veranda. She also took care to provide tips for different hikes in the area which we appreciated (recommend the waterfall hike up the fall!) Lovely garden area with large pool. Location was perfect for our needs.
Loosdorf

At Hofmanns B&B every room is fitted with bed linen and towels. Our host Rudolph went above and beyond to make our experience special. Instead of a mini bar, their was a large fridge in the common area filled with assorted beverages, including organic wine produced by his son. The facility was clean, simple and well maintained. Our host’s garden added even more charm. In the morning, our breakfast included fresh apple juice from their own fruit, jams from their apricots, fresh tomatoes and herbs from the garden and other locally sourced treats. He could be more friendly and accommodating. Because our trip to Loosdorf was due to our car breaking down, after breakfast Rudolph drove us to the repair shop to pick up our car.

Breakfast is small but contains everything needed to start a good day! The rooms are very modern and comfy, our room had a balcony (to enjoy the surroundings with a cool drink). Staff is very rustic and friendly! Food / Dinner is also very good! Lake Erlauf is very close (about 2.5 km) and the chair lift up the Gemeindealpe is right next door!
We planned to stay for 1 night before very early morning flight from Vienna airport. It was really good choice to stay in this pension for this purpose. It is very very close to airport and much cheaper than airport hotels. It is in quiet place, you can have dinner ar some evening beer or wine in nearby restaurant. Pension is clean and you will find everything you need for short stay.
The owners were very kind, helpful. We felt like being family members. Pension is located in a very small village close to Melk and Shonbuhel castle. There is beautiful view on a small church right from the pension. Room was big and comfortable, so was the bathroom. Everything was very clean. The food was AMAZING! Real home cousin. We didn't even think to dine at some other place once we had our first dinner here. Breakfast also very good.
Very good breakfast with rich selection. Quiet location and friendly staff. They don't serve dinner, but they recommended a nice tavern in the village.
Stunning location. Guest house is very comfortable. The Stift is well worth a visit & there is also a very good restaurant, where you can have lunch and dinner (& the ample complimentary breakfast is served).
