My room was spacious, with the balcony overlooking the river and the mountains. The bed mattress was perfect Great breakfast with personal touch from the host lady Manuela. She also prepared for me excellent vegetarian dishes for dinner. I plan to come back!

At Hofmanns B&B every room is fitted with bed linen and towels. For my purposes, the location is perfect for travelers. It's really close to the A1 highway, yet calm and cozy. The hosts are exceptional. It's a really good place to rest on your travels and do your work remotely. I will certainly visit it again and again in the future.

Close to Vienna airport and easy to get to from the train stop (1 stop from airport). Only 2 euros to get there! Good if you need to be close to the airport and we found a place for dinner close by. Check-in was easy (was told a day before which room we would be in) and room was clean and ready for us.
The room and bathroom was clean, the same as shown at pictures during booking process. Beds were comfortable, hard enough, not too soft, which was good thing. We appreciated beds were comfortable to get rest after whole day(s) skiing at Semmering Stuhleck. Even the pension is close to railway lines, we could not hear the train. The room was equipped as described.
Excellent location, 10 minutes walk to the city center (uphill on the way back, but that's not a problem). The parking is right in front of the pension and there are enough places. Quiet and peaceful area. Check-in was easy and quick, we really liked the terrace, too bad it was cold and we couldn't stay outside for too long. It was perfect for our one night stay.
The location is excellent! Short 5 minutes walk to the departure hall. Also, the hotel itself is very nice with clean and quiet rooms, you can't hear aeroplanes flying at all. The buffet for breakfast and dinner offers a variety of meals and plenty to choose from. The staff is very professional, polite and friendly.
From the reviews, we decided to come and stay an extra evening in Melk, rather than continue in Vienna, and it certainly did not disappoint. Large, spacious, modern and sophisticated, we lived in luxury for a reasonable off-season price. We later learnt that Der Goldener Stern also had a past as a historic inn owned by the Abbey. No staff were seen, and none were needed at this self check-in apartment. Radiator was great for drying washed clothes.
The hotel is clean and well maintained. It has good sporting facilities, including the bowling alley, table tennis hall with 3 tables and very good ski equipment storage facility. Breakfast and dinner were well prepared with the good variety. Staff is very pleasant. Very good showers in the SPA, as well as spacious finish sauna and very good Turkish bath. Kids playroom is very nice.
The staff fulfilled our every request including putting a tea kettle and two cups in our room. The dinner in their dining room was excellent and the wait staff very professional. The staff also prepared a nice breakfast for our early departure and it was nicely presented when we came downstairs at 5:45am. Finally, it was an easy drive to the Vienna airport rental car return the next morning.
The dinner was incredible value for money. Bike garage was handy and secure. Shower and toilet rooms are separate- very handy.
We had dinner at the hotel restaurant and it was very good, breakfast was also excellent. There are two areas of bedroom in the hotel, one area the room are relatively small but good in the other area the rooms are much bigger and the restroom is also separate from the bathroom, so I would recommend to ask for these room. We took the hotel just for the night and in the morning left to the airport with was 20 minuets away by car, so for us the location was very good. Highly recommend the place
