The commercial area is 300 metres away. An exceptional place with exceptional owners. We cannot praise enough how helpful Ian and his wife were to us. They did everything to make our stay in their nice Guesthouse unforgettable. Rooms are nice and breakfast great. Not exactly in the centre but an easy walk into the noisy and busy centre of El Calafate. Highly recommended

Excellent staff! Natasha booked us dinner when we got in late and asked us specific questions about what we wanted. Location was ideal and interior was very nice. Some drawers and a little more comfy mattress would have been 5 stars but highly recommend!!
The staff is fantastic and super helpful in planning, coordinating, just talking, and everything in between - in Spanish and English. The main area is great for hanging out, doing work, or just sitting. Breakfast was basic but good, and meeting other people is easy here. The rooms were cleaned every day, and even your bed is made! Stayed here at the beginning of my time in Calafate, left to Chalten, and then returned afterwards because I liked it. Maybe a 15m walk from the bus station and a 15 minute walk to the main visitors part of town.
Amazing private room.. huge space with a nice bathroom and everything super clean and beautiful. Common spaces are lovely including the kitchen. Very friendly staff and a chill/cool vibe around the hostel. Inner patio to hang and nice breakfast too. Recommend 👍
The staff was fantastic. The hotel had a beautiful view of the lake, and we would absolutely stay here again. Breakfast was good and we ate dinner there one night and it was good.
The room was beautiful with an amazing view. Really clean and lovely bathroom. Tea and coffee making facilities. Very quiet as we booked the superior double which I think gives a good location. The breakfast was very good with fresh cooked egg options. The reception staff were very helpful. We used the town shuttle after dinner and only had to wait 5 mins for it to arrive. WiFi cover is very good indeed.
The staff were helpful and nice. The breakfast was pretty good too, but identical every day of our stay (some variety day-to-day would be nice). The rustic decor throughout seems fitting the hotel's location, but it is a minor detail, typically not relevant to good stay.
A great location with a wonderful host. Guillermo is very friendly and helpful and speaks great English. The apartment is not luxurious but this is not the point - you get an excellent quality-to-price ratio. We even managed to have a nice dinner at the comfortable table outside. Highly recommended!
The staff were extremely friendly and helpful and the breakfast was excellent. Plus the room was well heated at night and the wide window could be opened up to enjoy the pleasant garden. The guest house has a lovely view over the lake and was an easy short walk from the bus station and not that far from the town centre.
