We had an entire house to ourselves with a large living room, kitchen, laundry, bedroom and bath. I believe it was an upgrade from what we reserved. There were very few pots, pans, dinnerware, and utensils for cooking so we ate out most nights. W stayed for 5 nights and never saw anyone else within the gate of the property. It was a drive to tourist destinations in Johannesburg but we felt it was in a safe neighborhood. We enjoyed our stay here.

Our stay was lovely - I do think you need units with baths, especially for guests who stay longer. Also, you need to cater for a wine list at the Medley Restaurant for dinners :)

A hidden gem in an amazing location. The hotel has amazing views from the top of Northcliff Hill. The room was clean and very comfortable, the staff were amazing and the Chef prepared 2 dinners for me which were delicious. The breakfasts were also fantastic. Will definitely be back :)

Everything was absolutely perfect. Superb guest house in a quiet and safe area of Sandton. The place is very cozy and peaceful with a wonderful garden and a beautiful swimming pool. Excellent breakfast and dinner. Very nice room with a terrace overlooking the garden. A big thank you to Chris and Allison for their welcome and their help (following the theft of our smartphones). We hope to come back to see you.

We were only there for one very short night and checked in quite late in the evening. The owners were very accomodating and were in touch since the beginning. Conway responds very quickly, and was very kind to help me print out some documents needed to cross the border to Lesotho. Shame we only stayed literally for the night and had to leave early in the morning, the guest house looked very lovely, and their breakfast smelt amazing as we were leaving!

The decor was old-fashioned and help contribute to the warmth of the room. The location of the guest house was convenient, as it was close to the famous Melville restaurants and taverns. The staff was welcoming.
