Perfect for rustic breaks in the countryside, an Inn is a small property with basic hotel services and typically traditional decor. Inns are fully licensed and have a bar providing food and drinks in the evening, which distinguishes them from country or guest houses.
The photographs were a true reflection of the accommodation, they were not "styled. EVERYTHING worked and the facilities were superb. The shower is large enough and has a fairly big showerhead. The room is spacious and the air conditioning works well. A winner, thank you!
Beautiful views, lovely breakfast and dinner. It is located next to the main road and overlooking the Orange River. Swimming pool and playground for children. Wonderful view of the bridge at sunset.
The host, Pumeza, was wonderful. She went out of her way to organize us dinner. She made us feel so welcome. The breakfast was great. When we are passing through Aliwal North again, we will definitely stay over at Aliwal Villa Lodge
We had a lovely stay and our room appeared to be newly furbished - clean neat and brand new. We enjoyed the outside space under the rees for our morning coffee. The Inn has a lorge well kept garden and swimming pool which is essential in the hot summer months. Thank you to the staff and manager - we will be back should we travel through Aliwal North again.
This was a wow experience. We have never, on all our travels, met such an excellent host. Pumeza was friendly, helpful and even arranged for our dinner to be collected from one of the restaurants she recommended. The room was clean, comfortable and load shedding did not effect our stay. Breakfast was amazing. We can recommend this Guest House with a 10+ rating. Value for money!
Loved the rustic look, Roy the host is very helpful, close to the beach and shopping mall. Very comfortable and all amenities available. Would definitely come back to stay. Safe and secure.
Good location with secure parking. The centre of the township within minutes away (by car). Appreciated the recommendation to a close by restaurant-bar for a great steak dinner. Good breakfast before traveling more.
