Perfect for rustic breaks in the countryside, an Inn is a small property with basic hotel services and typically traditional decor. Inns are fully licensed and have a bar providing food and drinks in the evening, which distinguishes them from country or guest houses.
The staff at reception was super friendly and informative. The hotel is located at the center of the town, which was extremely convenient for dinner in the night we arrived. The room was clean and with a decent size. The breakfast was included and, even though it was simple, we were happy about the quality of choice.
Staff was very accommodating. There was a mix up with our reservation, but Joseph was able to get us even better accommodations than what we reserved. The cabin was right on the oceanfront. We had a spectacular view of the ocean from our bedroom and our kitchen. We highly recommend the Shores Inn
We had a room on the 11th floor with an awesome view. The hotel pool was fantastic, and we ate dinner at a fire pit on the patio. It was totally unexpected and really great value for money.
First of all, I DID NOT stay at Travelers Beach Inn. I feel as if the $157+ I lost on this booking should be reimbursed. First hint that this is not a good place to stay were the Cockroaches in the tub. I am in the process of conferring with the City of Ventura Health Dept. re the condition of this property. Only comparison I can make is to a Pigsty.
Easy check-in/out. Pleasantly surprised at the room and its useful space; very clean and fresh. Comfortable beds with elegant linens. Toiletries and towels are provided. Neal the manager made our stay in Ventura one we would like to repeat. Cafe Nouveau is nearby (breakfast, lunch and dinner) and the brewery/pizzeria down the street was fun, although driving there is best. We were able to park in the motel lot behind the building and there are also parking spots in front.
