We unexpectedly had to stay the night at JFK. I have little experience of close-to-airport hotels in the US (In Europe I do and there they are generally comfortable and affordable). I choose the hotel Booking mentions first with a great rating of 8.0 = Fairfield Inn. I liked the shuttle. I called the hotel from Federal Circle; the shuttle came within 10 minutes. In de morning the shuttle left on time (every hour on the hour).

The property was close to JFK airport which was our reason we booked here. We had an early departure via Jet Blue terminal. The hotel’s bar/restaurant was awesome. We had some good food and a drink. Overall, the staff was awesome also. Thank you Hampton Inn for a very good accommodation.

Horrible smoking smell all over the Inn. My clothes in my suitcase smells like smoke. Just awful! I couldn't wait to get out of that place.

I called the day before traveling, to verify my reservation was up to date and everything was. The manager greeted me and gave me information of restaurants in the area. Housekeeping person was very friendly. Breakfast at the in-hotel dinner was very good.

Nothing at all. It was a nightmare from the beginning to the end. Booking asked them for a refund, but in 5 days got no answer. I asked for a refund, and also didn't get any answer.

The Rockaway Hotel is beautiful and has everything you need for a resort vacation. The Spa is exceptional! We were able to sneak in a last minute massage. We had dinner at Margie’s and the lobster tagliatelle was fantastic too!

Samantha who checked us in was fantastic. Our flight was cancelled. We arrived in the middle of the night. She let U.S. & several others dead on our feet check in. She was accommodating & listened to us . I’ve stayed at Hampton inn’s before & have been happy with them, but I’ve never had the service that Samantha gave us. Top drawer!

Very close to the airport - about a 5 minute drive. There is no restaurant in the Hampton Inn but there is another hotel located just across the parking lot which serves takeaway.

I have stayed in Fairfield Inn by Marriot JFK overnight after my trip from Chicago for catching up my return flight home. I have hosen the hotel as it is 9 min away from the JFK Airport and they offer shuttle services from and to the airport. The experience in general was very good for an overnight stay and the staff were nice and friendly.
