Not far from yoamite and in a cute town with plenty of dinning options. The Healthy Food store down the street was amazing for breakfast. The room was clean and wasn't overly outdated

We had a great time in Mariposa which was the perfect base for exploring Yosemite in Winter. The Monarch Inn is located right in town (super close to YART bus stop) and near excellent restaurants and bars. The room was spacious and tidy, and great value for money, and there is a big parking area. Complimentary continental breakfast was very good too with fresh bagels, cereal, fruit and decent coffee

The monarch inn had everything you'd want in a motel: Good parking, easy check in, clean facility and room, quiet, with a pool and a few breakfast items. I really enjoyed the bakery up two doors and the downtown area of Mariposa safe and walkable after dark.

Staff were very friendly and helped order our dinner when we arrived late and most restaurants were closed by 9pm. Light breakfast was included even though not listed in the hotel description and this was very useful as most places open only by 8am. Rooms were very clean. Get your lunch sandwiches at Pioneer market nearby (opens at 7am) if you drive to Yosemite.

loved every bit of our stay, the hotel is gorgeous. our room was so rustic & well thought-out. clean and comfortable. the best nights sleep of our 3 week trip was here, great pillows/mattress and soft thick sheets. SO quiet - you can’t hear a thing!

The Inn is right off the highway and all the restaurants and shops in town were walking distance. The woman who checked us in was very nice and helpful with food suggestions. The room was large and pleasant.

fantastic inn right in the centre of mariposa. comfortable rooms that have everything you need. great location for visiting Yosemite. we had a fantastic stay, Mary looked after us so well and even gave us a breakfast goody bag when we were up early to climb half dome. would definitely stay again and would highly recommend.
