    This was the dirtiest hotel I have ever stayed in, ever! Pee spots on the floor, mysterious stains on the comforter, Pubic hairs in the bathroom, and no food at the breakfast bar. Quality Inn should re-evaluate putting its name on this hotel venue.

    The Knob Hill Inn was built in 1977 and had not been refurbished since then. For many people, this is a non-issue. Over all, the room was clean, but if you are expecting things to be like new, then you will be disappointed. The owners are very nice and helpful, and the location is central to everything you probably need given this is a very rural area. If you are not too picky, then this is a great place for a night or two. It is very safe and the bed was quite comfortable. The room had a refridgerator, a TV, and WiFi that worked well.

    The first room, my granddaughter, and I was placed in was dirty and scary looking, I called down at the front desk and talk to with the girl there and she switched our room. It was still disappointing. However the alternative for us was to pay $149 a night plus $75 pet deposit and I could not afford that.  on the way back home we stayed at red roof inn, and it was excellent for only about $12.00 more. I will stay at the red roof and when I go down to see my grandson again in North Carolina.

    The women who work at the front desk were very nice. One of them suggested a great restaurant for dinner. The bed was comfortable. The breakfast was cereal, muffins, and bread items. It was a basic, clean, comfortable hotel room with wonderful employees.

    The hotel was meticulously well kept. Very comfortable beds. There was so much variety and so many choices to meet everyone’s needs. There was so much room for the food to be displayed. The young man who was in charge was so helpful and accommodating . We couldn’t have had a better experience. Thank you. We liked it so much we decided to stay at a Comfort Inn in Charlotte, hoping for the same experience but that hotel really feel short of our experience in Hillsville.
