Perfect for rustic breaks in the countryside, an Inn is a small property with basic hotel services and typically traditional decor. Inns are fully licensed and have a bar providing food and drinks in the evening, which distinguishes them from country or guest houses.
The rooms were very clean and large. You couldn't beat the price and it included a hot breakfast. The one side of the hotel does have a terrific view of the mountains. You can tell they have renovated and are trying to rejuvenate the inn. My teens liked that they could walk to the convenience store.
The coffee was good. I was grateful that there was decaf available 24/7. I opened my day with a cup of decaf and I closed my day with a cup of decaf. Also, the room was very clean. That has been highlighted to me after staying in another hotel afterwards and finding it unclean. I was very grateful that an economical price at Red Roof Inn did not mean I was shortchanged on cleanliness.
Quaint and quiet, the inn staff is very friendly and accommodating. From check in, the girls were very willing to listen to our needs and get us in the best room for our family. We were in town for a wedding with three small children and the staff treated us like family. The room was immaculate for the price, you can’t beat it. We only come to visit home once a year at most but now may be visiting more often now after finding this place!
The owners are so wonderful we love staying here I would recommend the Inn at Mt View to anyone the rooms are beautiful it’s very clean and the rooms are so big not crowded at all no matter what kind of kind of situation your staying here you will have plenty of room for your belongings! Also the speedway that is right behind the Inn makes it very convenient for anything u may need!!! Did I mention the owners are fantastic!!
As a traveler from out of state and unsure of this area, I was relieved to spend a quiet night's rest at this safe Inn. My room was spacious, comfortable, and clean. I appreciated the friendliness of the staff in helping me find a place to eat as it was late when I arrived. This location was perfect en route to Shanksville and then onward to Philly. I can see why many customers return to the Mountainview.
