fallen Tree is a lovely inn. We had trouble finding it since we had no GPS. A larger sign placed closer to the road and at a right angle to
the house would have helped. The host was very sociable and kind. Use of a washer and dryer was appreciated.
We only had dinner in the restaurant but it was excellent. We would like to come back in the summer to see the gardens more with flowers and enjoy the pool.
My husband and I spend a week around the Finger Lakes. The Fallen Tree Inn was perfect. The hosts were extremely gracious, the home was very clean and filled with lovely accents, the location is right off Lake Seneca and all the lakes were easily accessible. Craig and Christine (hosts) even took us out on the lake with their boat to try some fishing. Our evenings were spent around the outdoor fire pit, with lively discussions and a good wine.
The place inside was beautiful...the street is a little run down and forgotten, however the neighbors were very nice and welcoming. The location was in walking distance to MANY wonderful bars, taverns, restaurants....
I liked the view of the lake, sitting by Seneca lake on the benches. Dinner at the castle was very good. Loved the old wood work of the castle that was maintained.
CiCi's is located in the nicest section of Geneva. It's within easy walking distance of the Belhurst castle and Geneva on the Lake, which are 2 beautiful properties located on Seneca Lake, which is also gorgeous. I enjoyed meeting and talking to the owners and had no issues with the shared bathroom. For me, CiCi's was a winner in terms of price, comfort, and location.
The hotel is gorgeous and very affordable for what it is. The location could not be more wonderful! Too bad the restaurant was not open! We would have liked to try it! The pool is very small & it was not open, however they have a deal with the Hampton inn next door (which is not nearly as nice) which has a very nice pool and jacuzzi and they allow you to use it... Enjoy!
