We had dinner and lunch - both EXCELLENT! Love the throwback feel of the 1930's & the serene location on the spring.....excited to take the boat trip next time!

The dinner has a disaster, waited more than an hour for food. No info. Have two kids, 2Y and 8Y, and the waiting time is a challenge. Restaurant was about 20 percent filled up.

We were late arriving, and had dinner reservations that we had to keep changing. The staff was so kind and so patient. They held a table for us even though we were past our reservation time. The chef cooked all you can eat shrimp after kitchen was closed. We were treated like VIPs even though we were just regular folks. It’s a beautiful state park. Very relaxing atmosphere. Pretty and serene wildlife. Boat tour worthwhile. We had a good time researching history of springs. That makes it more entertaining during visit.

The location was very peaceful and the hotel had a wonderful old fashioned feel to it. There were walking and biking trails on site and the highlight was the boat tour with an entertaining and informative commentary by Colin the park ranger. We had lunch and dinner in the hotel and thoroughly enjoyed both.

It was a pleasant atmosphere and a great place to relax. We saw many manatees and the setting is beautiful. We had breakfasts and dinners at the lodge which were quite good.
