    The place was very nice, the location was beautiful. It was very relaxing. The restaurant the owners suggested for dinner was top-notch. The food was outstanding. I think it was the boathouse bistro. It was within walking distance from the hotel. All in all, a very nice stay.

    We LOVED the Tugboat Inn. Beautiful setting right on the water, comfortable & clean accommodation, plus the benefit of cute & cozy “igloos” to enjoy sitting on the water outside in colder months.

    This inn offers everything - comfort, location and excellent service. The room was sparkling clean and well-appointed. From the moment we were greeted by our hosts, we felt welcomed and confident that every effort would be made to ensure an enjoyable stay. Breakfast delivered to our room each morning was fabulous. The inn is a short walk to just about everything Boothbay has to offer.

    Would have loved breakfast (aka) right down the hall but sign said lunch and dinner only so a little confused ,but stay was great and host were all top notch .We did get app at the tavern and beer and was great thanx for putting up with us lol.

    Breakfast was delicious and plentiful. Well thought out with lots of attention to detail as to the food and the set up. Fresh flowers on the tables. Homemade cookies in the afternoon/night were delicious also. The rooms are clean and the King room was very roomy. And Laura the innkeeper is very personable and helpful.
