Perfect for rustic breaks in the countryside, an Inn is a small property with basic hotel services and typically traditional decor. Inns are fully licensed and have a bar providing food and drinks in the evening, which distinguishes them from country or guest houses.
The view of the marina and the bridge is hands-down the reason we stay at the Riverwalk Inn and why we recommend it to friends, but the staff have always been very friendly and professional, and the rooms are perfectly comfortable. The breakfast is decent too. I've seen reviews that complain about it not being right in the heart of town, but I actually think that's a plus, and it is on the riverwalk.
Great location. Excellent communication from the staff. Biggest perk was the free chauffeured car service for dinner as it was a stormy night. Everyone was very friendly and accommodating.
Very clean! Nice hang out area with cards and games to play. A very nice kitchen. Easy to check in with a code. Bathroom was very nice with a nice shower. Bed was very comfortable! Nice and quiet and had a really good nights sleep. Was super close to Blue Scorcher for breakfast and coffee and Fort George Brewery for some drinks and dinner. Was walking distance to all downtown. Perfect location.
Although it is unassuming from the outside, the inside of the inn was very fun and unique. We loved the lighting and decor, definitely not your average motel room.
There is no onsite staff (electronic access codes), but they are very quick to respond to messages and provided a phone number if we had any issues.
The bed was very comfortable. The staff very friendly, and gave good recommendations for dinner. The breakfast they served was amazing.
