All units are equipped with air conditioning, a flat-screen TV with satellite channels, a fridge, a kettle, a shower, free toiletries and a desk. With a shared bathroom, rooms at the inn also provide guests with a garden view. At JJ at Chiangkhan, every room is equipped with a seating area.

I like the friendliness of the staff and the quiet location of the hotel. The dog of the hotel is also very friendly and accompanied me to my room.

This was our first time at this side of the city, we normally stay on, or near, walking street. This property is pet friendly which is one reason we chose it. They offer toast and instant coffee in the morning only. Which for us is not an issue as there are plenty of places to eat in the city. Beds are firm, AC works well, usually cable tv channels, very typical of the many guest houses in Chiang Khan. They offer a small private parking area which was nice as well. All around a pleasant stay

Our hostess was very welcoming, charming and concerned we would be comfortable which we were. Although the guest house wasn’t situated right by the Mekong, it was quietly tucked away from the hustle and bustle of the tourist scene just a five minutes walk away. Our room was surrounded by a pretty garden with a little pond. It was tranquil and serene sitting outside in the late afternoon. In the morning breakfast was laid out for us after a good night’s sleep. Baan Suan La Moon was a great stop on our road trip following the Mekong.
