The pool at the Golden Frog is nice and the surroundings beautiful. We can also recommend their restaurant for dinner.
The Golden Frog Inn is beautifully located, lots of greenery and flowers around, you have a nice view of the surrounding mountains. Cleanest place I found in Panama! Breakfast was plenty and the staff even saved it for me and served it later as I was coming back from a hike. Thanks again! I definitely recommend, great value for money!
Great atmosphere, helpful and friendly staff, decent kitchen, and nice garden with lots of space to relax. There were also some activities and tours organised - group dinner, hikes, waterfall trips.
I also really liked the yoga class the hostel offered (though they are not on every day) - it was a proper 1.5 hour class and much better than your average hostel yoga class.
Would definitely stay again!
The main building is very nice and good pool and close to breakfast area. The other buildings not so convenient and smaller rooms.
Breakfast was included in the room rate and a large portion and service was good.
Dinner at Casa de Lourdes was excellent food but service somewhat slow as only one waitress working!!!
José and Liz are perfect Hosts, you live with them in their house and you feel very welcomed immediately. They showed us the best places for dinner and we had a nice BBQ with them the other night. The breakfast is good and they even took us to India Dormida, It was fun to do the hike with them as Jose explained a lot and showed us a waterfall where we could swim in. He also offered to take us to another waterfall hike, which we could unfortunetlay not join as we had to leave. Great place, stay there!
