Perfect for rustic breaks in the countryside, an Inn is a small property with basic hotel services and typically traditional decor. Inns are fully licensed and have a bar providing food and drinks in the evening, which distinguishes them from country or guest houses.
Really nice location, the beach is just across the street. The staff is very friendly as well and you can rent surfboards for an okay price. Thanks to the A/C we slept very well in the heat.
The beach is super pretty and great for beginning and experienced surfers. It is really beautiful and there are not that many people so a lot of space. Also with a car you can go on a trip to Cambutal and that’s really great! The beaches are completely empty and undiscovered. It’s quite a bumpy adventurous ride to get there but definitely worth it.
I stayed two nights in the Eco Venao Lodge. Right at the beginning there was a very friendly reception. They showed me also other rooms for rent in this lodge, but I stayed with the casita I had booked. The casita in the forest was a really great experience: view from the terrasse and windows into the forest. The room was perfectly clean and everything worked. The WiFi was fast.
The family was just lovely and we felt like home from the beginning!

The kitchen is big and you're always welcome to use everything. The view from the balcony was stunning!
You can rent surfboards from the host and walk down to the beach and surf just 5 minutes from home :-)
It's a beautiful walk on the beach to go to town. It just takes about 20 minutes. If you don't want to walk they are always willing to give you a ride.
We loved it so much that we endet up staying 10 days!

Super relaxed vibe, real surfer place. You immediately feel the stress fading away and it's right on the beach so it couldnt be better. The restaurant is pretty good, with wide range of choices and we had breakfast/lunch/dinner here, all good.

the restaurant is so good, the mussels are delicious, and the fish also, we love the patacones, and the best is that opens all day long, for breakfast, lunch and dinner
the bar is beachfront, with a dj , music so cool, the gin tonic at the bar was perfect
