Featuring a garden, terrace and views of pool, Hotel Maria's Nicte Ha is set in Progreso, 300 metres from Progreso Beach. With an outdoor swimming pool, the 2-star inn has air-conditioned rooms with free WiFi, each with a private bathroom. The accommodation offers a shared kitchen, a concierge service and organising tours for guests.

Traditional Mexican decor, very cozy place. Was really great to have kitchen because restaurants in the area are very expensive. For those driving a car - be aware of a lot of reckless bickers in the town.

The pool & appartment was nice, but the location is too far from the bea h. You need to spend $ 50 MXN to cat h a taxi to beach, so if you want to go to the beach in the morning & go out for dinner at night, you'll pay $ 200 per day on taxis. Worth considering.

We loved the location, dinners are delicious, and the restaurant staff (inside the restaurant) were amazingly nice.

Super easy/fast walk to the beginning of the Progreso boardwalk. There are plenty of dining and shopping options really close. You're staying in a safe area.. Never worried about walking the streets at night or my rental car parked up the street. Enjoy the Progreso vibe!

Location is great, right on the boardwalk and beach. Very clean. This is a basic hotel, nothing fancy about it; compared to other hotels on that location, it looked top notch. Location and cleanliness are the best characteristics. They have a restaurant on site for lunch or dinner. Breakfast not offered at the hotel but there are options at walking distance.

Pool and outdoor patio with comfortable lounge chairs were steps from our room. Pool overlooked the ocean which was steps from the front door of hotel. Restaurant downstairs served lunch and dinner, and we had a discount on its sister restaurant for breakfast. Pacific was warm.

Very kind staff, clean and comfortable rooms, quiet location about 15 min walk to the malecon. Felt very secure. Keep your expectations in check: this is a very low key and moderate inn located in an old mansion, maybe comparable to a pension in Europe. Note there are 2 floors and no elevator. Good air con in the room and reliable hot water in the shower. There is access to the Gulf of Mexico across the street, the water is clean and warm for swimming: water shoes are recommended.

Extremely nice personel, reception was both spanish and english speaking. Big, cosy room, comfy bed, good internet, great location, next to the beach and promenade. Really good housekeeping. Personel won it anyway. We had some issues with our room in the beginning, when we sent a message about it to them, two nice receptionists girls came to our room immidiately to solve the problem and it was solved in the best way we could even expect. Greetings and due to staff, highly recommended.
