    Everything was superb from the welcome we got, the room and decor, the food at both dinner and breakfast was some of the best we have had in Jordan, 10 out of 10!!

    Our second visit to Black Iris. It’s a really great place to stay while in Madaba and a good base from which to explore the region. Super friendly hotel with great staff. Really clean and stylish, comfy beds, lots of hot water and Netflix on the TV. There is a good breakfast included and dinner is available. Great location, safe car parking.

    I think it was the best place we have ever stayed in. Ali and his family is incredibly kind and welcoming and made us feel like home. They have invited us for dinner, coffee and tea and chatted around the table for hours. Wish we could stayed a few more nights! Would certainly come back any time.

    This family run hotel is exceptional; all family members we met were friendly and helpful - and always had time for a chat and to give advice. The room and bathroom were both large and spotlessly clean. The dinner was delicious and good value. The location is excellent - very close to the major tourist sites.

    The host Moath was so very kind and helpful. His brother is a driver and we used his services for a full day - he was excellent and very good value. We had 2 dinners at the apartment and they were both fantastic - so thank you to Moath's mother. The apartment is well equipped and very comfortable. It's located on the edge of town so easy for arrival and departure - only 25 minutes from the airport. To reach the tourist centre is a couple of minute in a taxi which costs 1-2 JOD. We will certainly return.

    Amazing sunrise view from the camp. Great hospitality from Yazan and his family. The perfect stop on the King’s road. The dinner prepared by Yazan’s mother was memorable : the best Mansaf of our trip ! Delicious typical bedouin breakfast in the morning.
