Perfect for rustic breaks in the countryside, an Inn is a small property with basic hotel services and typically traditional decor. Inns are fully licensed and have a bar providing food and drinks in the evening, which distinguishes them from country or guest houses.
The owner is a good person. He will go to any extent to make your stay comfortable. Also, the view from the window was mesmerizing. The linens and bathroom was spotlessly clean.
If you want to be in between nature in a cost effective guest house, this is the way to go!
Highly Recommended!
Plz don't go to this resort. Only open for to take money . They failed to provide our dinner and breakfast. Management system are very poor . Staf can not understand English and Hindi
The host Freddy is a very helpful and warm person. Since we arrived late and in heavy rainfall, he went out, bought, and cooked Maggi and made coffee for us for dinner. He was also always available for our questions and concerns. The rooms have a good view with a beautiful garden outside. Hot water is available.
They give only breakfast. It was good. People there, Pynshongdor and Bhaskem are quite friendly. We landed there when it rained extremely heavily. They were kind enough to go out and pick up dinner for us at night. In fact, they called ahead and asked what we want to order so that they can pick up the food at dinner time.
They give good suggestions for the places to visit when it rains, etc.
When it rained heavily, when we see from the balcony itself we could see several waterfalls! It felt good.
It is a basic guest house at a higher price with no food facilities and below average cleanliness. Restaurant people will tell you there are many food restaurants nearby but u will not find it and if you want room service they will charge 100 rupees as delivery fees. Even in breakfast they have a single fixed option whether u like it or not. My advice is to go for a better hotel at 3500 per night.
Clouded Leo Inn ( Sohra)
A very decently decorated cozy room at an awesome view location owned by an humble , polite & enthusiastic peronality Mr. Yahi who gets overwhelmed by guest's visit & puts in his 110% efforts to take care of their requirements personally.
Rooms were clean and comfortable. Host was helpful and arranged for the things we asked for.
We had dinner thali - food were tasty and at reasonable prices.
When we reached the property, the wifi wasn’t working…the towels that were provided were very worn out…also there wasn’t much variety in the breakfast buffet nor were the breakfast options tasty…on the plus side, they had live singing every night at dinner time which really enlivened the atmosphere n made for a happy dining experience…also they provide snacks in the room like dark chocolates n white chocolates n cookies n roasted cashew nuts…they also provided us packed lunch when we had to go sightseeing.
Location is just awesome, it's 5 mins walkable from Thangakharang park. Only one Room house with Two Queen size bed, TV, geyser, sofa, cooler.. Wash room is very neat and clean. Morning when you open the door, gentle cool Breeze comes in with beautiful scenic beauty.. they also have general + grocery store which is 1 min walkable from this guest house.
