Our family loved our stay at the Rustic Inn River - large, clean and comfortable rooms and bathrooms, delicious breakfast buffet, proximity to Plitvice Lakes National Park, helpful and friendly staff, and more (i.e., cute dog!). Our family has several vegetarian members, and although not part of their usual offerings, they put together a very delicious dinner for us at short notice.
A charming guest house within walking distance of Entrance 2 to the National Park. Owned by a hospitable couple who gave us all the necessary info about the facilities in the area and they even gave us some coffee to make in the morning. :)
They've got a spacious kitchen with a dinning area available to guests, which is a great bonus. The room was clean and well-equipped.

We loved our visit to Rustic Lodge Plitvice. The staff were outstanding, extremely welcoming and helpful. As soon as we walked in we could smell the cleanliness of our rooms. We had dinner in the restaurant and it was superb. We especially enjoyed the walnut liqueur after dinner. If we could give a 20 out of 5 we would.
We stayed here for 2 nights when visiting the national park. It was 5 minutes by car to the entrance and was easy to get to as we drove from Zagreb. The host was very helpful and it was an excellent place to stay. There is a shop and a restaurant 5 minutes drive from the guest house and the host made us dinner one night also which was 20 Euros each for 3 courses. I would recommend staying here and would definitely stay again if returning to the area
Absolutely lovely staff!! So helpful and welcoming. The rooms were so rustic and the beds were super comfy! We also had an absolutely amazing dinner and then a delicious breakfast too! I would come stay again for longer than one night!!
The room was lovely and spacious. We loved all of the rustic wood furniture throughout the facility. The dinner was excellent and a good value for the money. Staff were very friendly and helpful. An excellent place to stay!
Awesome experience. The host was very friendly, and provided detailled explainations and tips about visiting the Plitvice Lakes National Park. Be sure to buy your Plitvice Lakes National Park tickets in advance, because if you do so, you can use the special Entrance 3 located near the Pension Breza. You can also choose to have dinner (served at 19:30 at the time of out visit) and/or breakfast (served at 7:30 at the time of our visit), they are both delicious. The place is very quiet and in a lovely green environnement.
The location is absolutely perfect for a visit of the Nationalpark. We also felt very welcome and the food (dinner and breakfast) was very good as well! The rooms are quite new and in a very good condition. I highly recommend choosing the Rustic Inn River.
The owner of the guest house was very personable and offered great recommendations for dinner. Our room was huge, and very, very comfortable. A short distance from the national park. The breakfast for 12 euros was amazing!
Well worth it, with cold and hot food. Delicious! Overall, the guest house was very clean, and felt welcoming.
