    Very pleasant place to stay. Quiet and relaxing. It was clean and the garden was very private. The hike to the beach via the wonderful Anidri gorge is just wonderful. To be that close, just a few minutes walk, to one of the absolute best tavernas in Crete, Sto Scolio, was very much appreciated. A big thank you to the friendly hosts, Simone and Christos, who made our stay a real pleasure.

    Modern small hotel, 200m to the beach, near taverns, supermarket and center of town . Own carpark but you don't need a car here. Well isolated, modern bathroom, espresso machine.

    Stunning location and a really nicely appointed studio apartment. Nothing was too much trouble for the owner. Within 5 mins walk of loads of great tavernas and the beautiful beach is only 2 mins away. Will definitely go back

    The studio was clean and comfortable. The view from the balcony is fantastic. You have a direct view to the sea and the arriving ferry in the evening. Only a few minutes from the center of paleochora but even very quite. We enjoyed our holidays very much. Paleochora is a beautiful place with two great beaches. Very good taverns in the city.

    There was nothing not to like. Was perfect location for us, about 50 minute walk from Paleohora,10 mins in taxi (8 euros). Charis was an exceptional host,very friendly and welcoming. Couple of tavernas and bars close by but as we were only staying for one night, it didn't matter

    first of all: the owner maria is one of the most wonderful persons that we met during our 3 weeks in crete. thanks to her we felt like home. she also makes the best cookies and walnut liquore and printed the recipe so we can make them at home. she also speaks perfect english. the rooms are perfectly clean, VERY comfortable beds, good shower, perfect position on the beach and next to the center with many tavernas and coffees. if i come to paleochora again, i will definitively come to ostria rooms!! thank you again maria❤️
