The room was lovely and spacious and very clean. Dinner was delicious as was breakfast. I was travelling with my husband and son who were cycling. They left before breakfast started and the chef very kindly provided take away sausage sandwiches, which were very much appreciated.

The canopy bed was a cool quirk and was very comfy. Enjoyed being able to have a beer and a meal in the same place we were staying.

The dinner and the breakfast were delicious. The location was great - the town was charming - and the walk along the Wye River was lovely. Our hosts, Tony and Wendy were very friendly and helpful - helping us find accomodations in Snowdonia for the following day. We would definitely return if we are in the area again.

Beautifully decorated and comfortable room with a shower, flat screen TV and a kettle. The bar area is very cosy with a log fire and rustic log beams. We opted to have an evening meal which was well presented and delicious. The location is very peaceful at night and we didn't hear any noise from the bar. Breakfast is a traditional breakfast which was delicious and a great start to the day. All in all this is an exceptional accommodation, excellent value for money and we can highly recommend it.
