The property , whilst old , was very homely and friendly. It had charm and character and very much came across as a tradition local pub. When we visited , it had just been decorated and brightened up and we loved the fresh look. Very friendly staff who couldn’t do more for us.The food was traditional pub food of excellent quality and price.

Its just a great fishing hotel/pub with very knowledgeable and helpful staff. Great beer and food too, and always a lively conversation to be had in the public bar
Perfect for rustic breaks in the countryside, an Inn is a small property with basic hotel services and typically traditional decor. Inns are fully licensed and have a bar providing food and drinks in the evening, which distinguishes them from country or guest houses.
Our room was very comfortable and our hosts were very friendly, helpful and accommodating. We had delicious steaks for dinner. The cooked breakfast was very good too.
The dinner and the breakfast were delicious. The location was great - the town was charming - and the walk along the Wye River was lovely. Our hosts, Tony and Wendy were very friendly and helpful - helping us find accomodations in Snowdonia for the following day. We would definitely return if we are in the area again.
Beautifully decorated and comfortable room with a shower, flat screen TV and a kettle. The bar area is very cosy with a log fire and rustic log beams. We opted to have an evening meal which was well presented and delicious. The location is very peaceful at night and we didn't hear any noise from the bar. Breakfast is a traditional breakfast which was delicious and a great start to the day. All in all this is an exceptional accommodation, excellent value for money and we can highly recommend it.
