Within 15 minutes’ walk of Poole International Ferry Terminal, this family-owned guest house offers free private parking. Home-cooked meals are available in the restaurant and real ales are served in Queen Mary Inn’s traditional bar.

All the staff were friendly and helpful. The pub atmosphere was excellent with everyone joining in the collective card games. The food was excellent, as was the assistance in ordering a suitable vegetarian and vegan mean. 5 🌟 Already looking forward to the next visit!

Location is excellent, Trevor is excellent, everything he did was over & above the expected, he even made my wife a cake for her Birthday! Bed was very comfy, the paddock is a wonderful place to sit & watch the fire. 30 mins from Poole, the Old inn was excellent. It won’t be the last time we visit.

The Albion is a converted house and stables in the middle of Wimborne. The rooms in the main house are spacious and finished to a high standard. The rooms in the converted stables are smaller but still comfortable for a short stay. The hotel has a relationship with a nearby pub/restaurant (The Olive Branch) where you can get breakfast, lunch, and dinner. The hotel location is also great and is situated right next to Wimborne Minster.

Breakfast superb, best Old English Inns/Greene King I've had and I have stayed in many GK Inns over the last 20 years. Zoe the Waitress should be working in the Ritz, most attentive, friendly and welcoming I've experienced in a UK hotel .Her attitude to all the guests was first class and she works such long hours on that shift.

Food was excellent (Dinner and Breakfast) Bar and restaurant had a good atmosphere and it was a good venue for rugby followed by dinner. Room was clean and had everything we needed with the exception of an adapator for charging a phone.
