This charming 400 year old coaching inn is situated just 5 miles from the famous golfing town of St. Andrews. We pride ourselves on the warmth of our welcome and the great food and ales we serve. Enjoy all this in cosy surroundings with open log fires and lots of things to do both within the inn and surrounding area.

The room was spacious & the bathroom was especially roomy. The shower was hot with good pressure. The view off the back deck was picturesque with hills & grazing sheep. The on-site restaurant & cozy bar are exceptional.

Cosy accommodation close to St Andrews & nearby beach area. The staff were particularly welcoming (Annette) and the Inn provided exceptional breakfasts & home cooked nutritious meals in the evening. A cosy bar area to relax in at the end of the day and plenty of parking. We loved our 3 day stay & would highly recommend to other travelers.

Excellent downtown location close walking distance to everything you want to see or do in St. Andrews. Free parking in the public lot right next to the Inn, if you're lucky enough to get a spot. Usually, you can if you wait a few minutes for someone to leave. This is a big plus. Large comfortable king-size bed. Good breakfast made to order. The rating is based on the good location, good breakfast, available parking and friendly staff.

It exceeded our expectations. Rooms were extremely clean and comfortable. With the fully equipped kitchen, we even managed to cook our dinners. TV has Netflix, etc installed, so you can also enjoy movies on the comfy sofa. And there were load of chips too.

The Inn was well situated outside St Andrews but very convenient for travelling into the city. The room was very clean and well equipped. The standard of service was exceptional. The breakfast service staff were a credit to the Inn. We will definitely be back.

We liked the quiet ambiance of the room overlooking a small courtyard separated from the main building and the rural setting. The Inn is in a good location for reaching areas in Fife including St Andrews and the Fife coast.

The views were fantastic, and the proximity to Strathkinness Tavern and StAndrews a definite plus. The layout was just right, especially for one person. Linda worked hard to rectify BT's incompetence and gave handy advice on laundry facilities in St Andrews.

The host Linda was extremely gracious and helpful. I highly recommend KnockHill Farms. The location is near to St Andrews and is great hiking and biking is just outside your door. The local tavern is great for dinner.
