The open fires in the bar and restaurant offer a dinner setting during winter. With its home-cooked food that uses fresh, local ingredients, guests at The White Buck can have a breakfast in the mornings or a Fuller's beer-battered fish and chips at lunch.

Beautiful stay in the New Forest - the hotel itself is amazing throughout. Our room was a decent size for a couple and with a powerful hot shower. Check in was easy with pleasant staff, as was breakfast. Would highly recommend staying here or with Fullers' other pub/hotels.

Dinner was superb. Really good homemade curries. Comfortable room. Friendly, helpful staff. Comfortable sofas and plenty of books to read in the lounge downstairs. Great walks in the Forest, just across the road. Easy to walk into Lyndhurst from the hotel. We've been here several times now.

Although classed as a budget room it was actually very good. Comfortable bed, light and airy and refurbished shower room. I had dinner - really tasty, well-cooked food. Staff were all lovely and friendly. Breakfast got a 10/10 again tasty and well cooked. My dog was welcomed too. Car parking easy.

Dinner was ok, beef was a little over, but we did eat towards the end of the day. The turkey was amazing! Breakfast was good. Portion sizes are excellent! Lovely big garden. We needed to hose the dog down, the staff were very helpful and got the hose out for us - perhaps, have an outside tap & hose ready for customers so the staff doesn't need to be disturbed. Will definitely stay here again.

Breakfast was lovely as we had the full English. The staff were delightful - all part of the same Nepalese family, so we had some Nepalese dishes for dinner which were great. Our room was a good size with large bathroom en-suite and an arm chair where I sat and read when the weather was not too good. There are several tables outside for sitting in the sun and admiring the garden. There is also a sun lounge with a few comfy settees.
