The property was beautiful and quirky, located in a very quaint area. The gardens surrounding the hotel were great and we took a little walk there after dinner. The room was very nice and perfect for a couple’s getaway during the May bank holiday. I really enjoyed the aromatherapy cosmetics that were available at the property. We have loved it!

Food was fantastic. We had dinner two nights and breakfast one morning. We travelled with an 18-month-old and the staff were so kind and accommodating. Perfectly located very close to the train station and an easy walk into the town as well. Bed was super comfortable and everything was clean and worked well.

A beautiful guest house by the water. We loved the Mayflower, the staff were friendly and helpful, the breakfast was fabulous, and our room was large and overlooking the water. It's within walking distance of the town and free parking is rare these days so much appreciated. We had dinner here one night and the sticky date pudding is one of the best we've ever had! Highly recommend.
