The Pyewipe has a rural setting beside the Roman Fossedyke canal, with views of Lincoln Cathedral and castle. It is a 20-minute walk from city centre and the historic quarter.

Reasonable accommodation for the price and the food was good. The staff were friendly and helpful. Parking directly outside your accommodation makes things easier.

It’s impossible to single out any particular staff member because they are all exceptional. This is an example of team. Together everyone achieves more. Including and most importantly us, the customer. Every detail for the traveler is catered for. Food is bang on. Great stay thank you.
Perfect for rustic breaks in the countryside, an Inn is a small property with basic hotel services and typically traditional decor. Inns are fully licensed and have a bar providing food and drinks in the evening, which distinguishes them from country or guest houses.
As the property is next door to a Indian restaurant we ate there for dinner. The food was exceptional. Really welcoming staff. Comfortable room and great value for money.
Helpful, friendly staff - we were able to check in early and had a parking permit for the duration of our stay.
Dinner and breakfast were both excellent.
Perfect central location just by the castle wall so we were able to walk to all the key attractions.
Stayed here before, so was not left disappointed. Room was comfortable and tidy. Dinner and breakfast very good and restaurant atmosphere very good. Also ideally situated close to where I needed to be the next morning.
We loved that the guest was quirky and not like your average guest house, the staff was very friendly and attentive , a minute away from the cathedral and close to lots of restaurants
Lovely tranquil location, great for a walk along the canal in the morning. 30mins walk into the city Centre. Lovely outdoor seating area at the inn to have a drink by the canal in the evening or a bite to eat. Staff very friendly & helpful. Bed very comfortable & room was large. Shower was fantastic. Ample free parking which is secure. Will definitely stay again when I come back to Lincoln.
Clean, comfortable, well-run guest house with good big rooms & bathrooms and very decent breakfast. Friendly and helpful staff. Location is excellent, spitting distance from cathedral, castle, plenty of good places to eat (recommend Jew's House & Ole, Ole), pubs (recommend Strugglers Inn). It's a 15-min walk from the station but remember there is the well-named Steep Hill to climb on the way there!
