Warm, spotless, very well equipped room. Comfortable bed. Receptionist very friendly, efficient and professional. Plenty of car parking. Damon's restaurant is next door, where we had a delicious dinner. Prices for the room and also for dinner were excellent.

The location was excellent with a view of the Cathedral and it was within walking distance of the historic centre. There was car parking on site (paid for separately). The buffet breakfast was good and our dinner in the hotel was most enjoyable. The staff were helpful and attentive. The room was comfortable.

The beds were so comfy, the bathroom high tech, breakfast and dinner amazing - we could have had our holiday in this hotel! We only stayed for one night but it was amazing.

It was excellent the accommodation was far enough away from the pub to not be disturbed, but close enough for use of facilities.Dinner was unbelievably good and exceeded what we expected.A bonus was that we had a classic car and there was plenty of room to enable us to park it in a safe place. The staff were excellent and helpful.

Breakfast was great; good choice of cereals, yoghurts, fruit and the cooked breakfasts (freshly cooked to order) were lovely. The room was clean and well equipped and the en suite bathroom was clean . Lovely view, over a common where horses grazed and although the Guest House is in the city, it felt quiet and right next to the countryside. The road is a cul de sac and therefore quiet with no discernable traffic noise.

Clean, comfortable, well-run guest house with good big rooms & bathrooms and very decent breakfast. Friendly and helpful staff. Location is excellent, spitting distance from cathedral, castle, plenty of good places to eat (recommend Jew's House & Ole, Ole), pubs (recommend Strugglers Inn). It's a 15-min walk from the station but remember there is the well-named Steep Hill to climb on the way there!
