Boasting a garden, restaurant, bar and free WiFi, The Kingsdon Inn is set in Kingsdon, 49 km from Longleat Safari Park and 50 km from Longleat House. The property offers a children's playground.

At the inn, the rooms come with a desk, a TV, a private bathroom, bed linen and towels. All guest rooms will provide guests with a wardrobe and a kettle.

Despite the age of the Inn, it is beautifully appointed and charming. Since the Inn is closed Sundays, Mondays and Tuesdays, we weren’t able to take advantage of the wonderful food we hear they have. Food is available about 5 miles away. We’d definitely stay again!

Just what we had hoped for..a real "locals" pub where we could play darts and pool with our Granddaughter and enjoy a laugh. We had dinner..my lamb curry was absolutely delicious. Breakfast was fab too. Owners and staff super friendly and helpful. Already booked our return.

A cosy country in with great facilities for a stop over. The room was modern, clean and very comfortable. Complimentary toiletries and a lovely shower were great and a wide selection of hot drinks and biscuits. The breakfast menu was fantastic, all cooked to order and plenty of variety and local produce. The staff were very welcoming and the lady that cooked and served the breakfast was fantastic! Would have liked to use the pub and had some dinner there. Maybe next time!

Breakfast was disappointing. Cooked breakfast only, low quality. We also ate dinner the previous night and similar to breakfast the food wasn’t very good.

Room - nicely appointed, spotlessly clean, comfortable, perfectly placed for the purposes of our visit to the area. Breakfast - Tasty, plentiful and good choices. We didn't have an evening meal as we were attending the Glastonbury Extravaganza at Glastonbury Abbey and had a picnic. The Old Pound Inn was convenient being just a 20 minute straightforward drive away. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay, as short as it was but we had seen enough to ensure we will be booking again.
