Central London is a 40-minute train journey away, whilst Heathrow Airport can be reached with 30 minutes’ drive. A number of riverside restaurants and pubs can also be found just 5 minutes’ walk from the hotel.

The suite was perfect, especially its bathroom. Breakfast was also good. The best thing is the location - very close to the Hampton Court Palace. I was lucky to parking on a few free parking places in front of the hotel

The Fox and Grapes is a luxury B&B with views across Wimbledon Common, offering classic British dishes and free Wi-Fi throughout, 9 miles from the heart of London.

The B&B is a 5-minute drive from the centre of Wimbledon, including shops and the railway station.

Greeted with the smell of Sunday roast, had travelled from Dorset so had not really eaten, was shown to a gorgeous room, coffee machine, fridge with milk, yogurts fruit, bottles of water and orange juice, plus in the morning there is a basket of cereals, miniature croissants with jams and honey brought outside of my room, dinner was roast pork and veg, gravy and apple sauce, I am sorry Mum, but this was the most tenderest pork and best roast dinner of my life! The glass of Malbec wine I had was gorgeous and so was the brandy on the rocks I took to bed with me, thoroughly recommend here, what charming hosts and locals. 🦋

In the heart of Wimbledon Village, the Rose and Crown Hotel has air-conditioned bedrooms with free Wi-Fi and flat-screen TVs with Sky HD channels, including Movies and Sports channels.

Guests can enjoy award-winning beers and freshly cooked pub meals in a relaxed environment. There is a heated patio terrace for outdoor meals and drinks.

Everything was wonderful - the hotel itself, the location, the staff, so friendly, courteous, efficient, helpful. A wonderful vibe as soon as you walk in - we came in by way of the pub, but there is a different entrance too. Amazingly quiet at night, didn't hear anything. A real neighbourhood, in Wimbledon Village, across from Wimbledon Common, about 12 minutes walk downhill to the tube station, or a short bus ride. Fabulous place. Lots of television stations, a bathtub.

When we booked we thought we were booking an old English / London public House/Inn with character & Atmosphere but we were very disappointed to arrive to a whitewashed, bland, characterless interior with no atmosphere whatsoever. The staff were pleasant. The room we had was extremely small & too hot so we had to open the window with a noisy road outside. WHY was there a noisy fridge in the room switching itself on/off & lighting up all through the night? We did appreciate the friendly staff & breakfast was OK.

Lovely room, almost a suite. Warm and comfortable, with a nice bath. Food at dinner was excellent. We were spoiling ourselves, so the whole stay was expensive; but pretty good value at that.

Location was great, but I found that the breakfast was a little cold, I like the plate to be warm. Feel the kitchen is quite away from the dinning room so the food was just warm not hot. Breakfast this morning was a little bit all over the place, no dishes available, waiting longer, breakfast items not being replaced until asked. Staff were lovely just seamed they find it difficult to cope with more than two tables😩

Returning once again to our favourite London hotel! Lovely comfy beds, great breakfast and dinner, wonderfully accommodating of three children. We love the close proximity of the Thames walks, shopping at Kingston and a short walk to get in to town by train. Perfect.
