The Inn has a lovely location right in the centre of Inveraray facing the front with an excellent view over the loch. There is not much too Inveraray so it is close to everything there is - most notably the Castle. The room was clean and comfortable with the bathroom particularly nice. My brother and I ate in the restaurant one night which provided good food at decent prices.

The George hotel was a lovely old historical hotel in the middle of Main Street Inveraray. Our room was clean, large and warm with comfortable bed and our stay included a full cooked breakfast which was delicious. We ate dinner at the George and could not fault the meal - salmon, mussels, clams in a spicy seafood broth with book chop and a platter of trout pate, caper berries, salmon, prawns, scallops. Absolutely fantastic! Staff at check in and leaving along with all restaurant staff were fantastic. I would recommend this hotel to everyone.

We loved everything about our stay. Right in the heart of town. Our room was fantastic and the bed super comfy. The staff were wonderful. We ate in the restaurant for dinner; the food was great, same for breakfast. Hot food cooked to order. Would highly recommend this Hotel. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

Lovely old hotel that has been refurbished but keeping with the old charm. Dinner was good and the big fire was appreciated. Breakfast was lovely as was the person who served us.

The location was excellent, with a nice view of Loch Fyne from the window. It was quiet. Website photos are accurate. The room was large enough for two comfortable chairs and a small table at the window. The breakfast room was very pleasant. The owner was friendly and helpful. We would recommend this guest house to other visitors. We walked to nearby locations for dinner.
