The staff were all so welcoming and attentive throughout our stay. The bed was very comfortable. The rooms are nicely decorated. We had dinner in the restaurant and were not disappointed, it was delicious! The salted caramel tart was the best dessert I have had in a long time! Breakfast had great choices and again the food was delicious! We were visiting Bodiam Castle nearby. I would definitely recommend this property if visiting the area.

The property is located well off the main road. The staff were welcoming, friendly and helpful. The room was a good size, well-appointed and spotlessly clean; it was comfortable and very quiet. We appreciated that fresh milk was provided in a flask at check-in and another delivery was left at the door in the morning. There was plenty of off-road parking space. Dinner and breakfast were both very good and service was efficient.

Very central for visiting many NT properties in lovely part of Kent. Good combination of historic inn with modern facilities. Staff were very welcoming and friendly. Room was stylish and very clean with comfortable king size bed. Many little touches like bottles of fresh water and milk and brownies on arrival. This is an AA 4* Inn and was a reasonable rate at £100 night. Would consider booking again if in the area.
