Beautifully decorated guest house with gorgeous rooms. Great location, short walk to the High St. Private off road parking. Wonderful cooked breakfast with high quality ingredients. Fantastic friendly hosts Kevin & Nikki, nothing too much trouble. Highly recommended.
The room we had was lovely and comfortable. The meal we had for dinner was delicious as too was the breakfast. Staff were so friendly and helpful, an absolute asset to the business. I especially loved the big bath.
In a beautiful setting. Lots of good walks from the hotel door. Very friendly and attentive staff.
A good selection at the buffet breakfast. Half Board allows £30 per person off the individually priced dinner menu selection which generally allows for 2 courses.
Lovely boutique style rooms. Beautifully decorated. Brilliant shower in ensuite. Small window view to the hillside. Enjoyed dinner in the restaurant, the steak pie was huge with loads of tender beef, too much for me.! Staff were all efficient and friendly.
Absolutely amazing stay. The Guest House was beautiful, rooms and common areas were immaculate and very spacious. Breakfast was fantastic (particularly the Woodlyn Hearty!) and catered for all the family. Beds were so comfortable. My 10 year old daughter claims it was the “best sleep of her life”. Hosts were lovely, so friendly and nothing was too much trouble… even tracked us down in the village after we left to return some forgotten earrings. Really looking forward to staying again in the future! (Stayed in the Willow and Maple rooms).
Absolutely beautiful grounds. Very comfortable, spacious bedroom with spacious en suite bathroom. Beautiful public sitting rooms and dining room. Helpful staff. Dinner was very good, with pleasant service. Lovely to have a table by the window. We were only there for one night, but there is a lot to see in the immediate area.
The guest house is in a lovely location with local amenities nearby. It is modern, comfortable and the attention to detail means that it has everything you need. The hosts are lovely and cook an excellent fresh breakfast. Can’t fault this place at all.
We stayed in The paddock snug,it was really spacious,very comfortable bed and the shower is great as are the complimentary toiletries they provibe,we had dinner at the gather which was excellent,we arrived as they had finished serving food,but they accommodated us,the staff are great and friendly,we also had breakfast which again was excellent,we were there for a wedding and I must say that this is a terrific venue that I would highly recommend.
Staff were so welcoming rooms were big and swimming pool and jacuzzi were amazing was nice to relax. We had dinner and it was so lovely
