Holly's welcome was naturally friendly and so, er, welcoming! Throughout our stay nothing was too much trouble. Slightly quirky room (Room 5 in the eves) and the slightly quirky route to get to it! Bedding and furnishings excellent quality, bathroom equally good.

The Red Lion, Stretham, hotel in Ely

Located in Ely, The Red Lion, Stretham offers stylish en-suite accommodation with free WiFi access throughout and on-site private parking free of charge.

The location was fine for the purpose of our journey but there weren’t anything else but this property around so very difficult find other place where to eat or buy something. The village is very small indeed. The breakfast wasn’t the best, really poor but fair to the price paid for it which is not included in the booking.

The Packhorse Inn, hotel in Ely

This is a gorgeous place to stay, full of character and charm and lots of little details , that shows care and attention has been taken. The food is great - I had a delicious meal and breakfast. But the staff are incredible! I had ordered a couple of parcels for work and thought I had put the right address down for delivery to the Packhorse. Yep, I messed up and the delivery went to somewhere else! Chris actually went and retrieved the parcels himself for me!! Outstanding customer service - a massive thankyou to him and Gabby for helping me out 👏👏👏

The property is clean, has awesome windows, is very spacious and has all the facilities to cook your own dinner, a Waitrose store nearby so it was easy to buy a frozen pizza and make it in the middle of the night.

Good location for train station, a short walk 15 or so minutes. The house itself was full of old world charm and lovely garden outside with mature trees and nature,I saw a monk jack deer outside my window! The restaurant was large and nicely panelled and the little conservatory that led out to the gardens was pleasant to sit in. The dinner I had was very good as also was the breakfast, including everything I could have wanted.

It was my second time at Riverside Inn, and obviously, there is a positive reason I chose it again. It's a clean and orderly place, with a very English atmosphere, on the banks of the river. This time I was given the tiny room with the external bathroom on the first floor. It's not bad at all, only one has to sneak their way to the bathroom, trying not to bump into the other guests, especially in the morning. However, my whole experience was very positive, and I'd choose to stay at Riverside Inn even a third time. Thanks a lot!
