    The staff were lovely and obviously took pride in the inn. The food was excellent and everywhere was very clean. our room was newly refurbished, everything new including the bathroom. Quiet, peaceful location. Couldn't ask for more.

    The Ellerby is a comfortable, cosy Inn in a beautiful location. All the staff were friendly and helpful. Our room was lovely and everywhere was so clean. The food is also very good - we enjoyed two excellent breakfasts and dinner was superb.

    Having visited earlier in the year while walking the Cleveland way, it was very pleasant to be able to visit under more relaxing circumstances. I heartily recommend the Ellerby Inn for anybody travelling that way - clean, comfortable and very friendly staff.

    Mid point stop off for us so location was great.Had dinner in the restaurant , was delicious with a good choice. Enjoyed the garden area for drinks, room lovely with great walk in shower.

    We stayed only one night. This is a lovely quiet little country inn and the staff were all very friendly and helpful. Our room was comfortable and we slept very well. The bathroom was spacious and luxurious. We enjoyed the breakfast and the parking was super convenient. We recommend this lovely local country inn.
