I didn't have time for breakfast, but had dinner on one night of my stay in the pub which was very nice, warm and welcoming. The bedrooms were excellent - clean and very quiet tucked away behind and very easy and close to the carpark for luggage. The rooms were warm and the feather duvet and pillows so comfortable.

We stayed for a quick overnight whilst heading north. The Inn was nice, we didn’t eat in the restaurant only for breakfast. The room was clean.

I loved the place. A small and quiet inn, beautifully decorated in a Scottish atmosphere and welcoming staff who answered my every request. The inn restaurant is excellent and so are the meals I ate there.

This is my third visit to the Horseshoe Inn. I travel a lot for work all year and I am now 'experienced' enough that if somewhere is good, book again. It is perfectly located, quiet, comfortable and well equipped. The staff are excellent and always ensure you have everything you need.

We loved the location because it was quiet and rural. Bus outside the door to Edinburgh if we wanted it. Really lovely food at breakfast and dinner at the restaurant. Friendly staff.
