The Copley Arms is situated 8 km from Looe, with the historic fishing village of Polperro close by. The traditional inn serves lunch and dinner, and uses local ingredients where possible. An outdoor seating area overlooks the stream.

Think location was a long way from Helston and quite hard to find.Everything else about the hotel was fine.

The view was amazing with just a short walk to the beach and a country park, ideal for walkers. Add to that there is the Smugglers Inn and The Beach House where you can get a drink and a bite to eat. Looe, Polperro and Fowey are just a short drive away with Downderry a short walk along the beach when the tide is out.

The room was clean, comfortable with all the usual amenities. The Inn on the Shore had a wonderful location, right on the water's edge (as the name would suggest) - pity the weather was so bad while we were there! Very tasty evening meal, and good breakfast. Free parking is always appreciated; overall, a very pleasant stay.

Fantastic spot. Had a Sea View room. We fell asleep listening to the waves lapping the shore. It was bliss. The rooms have all you need, and the bed is comfy. Staff are fantastic! Nothing is too much trouble. The food is Amazing! A delight to the taste buds and the eye. All served with that Awesome Ocean View. Although we left ours with friends, dogs are welcome throughout the Inn. Absolutely loved our week here. We shall definitely be back !
