Perfect for rustic breaks in the countryside, an Inn is a small property with basic hotel services and typically traditional decor. Inns are fully licensed and have a bar providing food and drinks in the evening, which distinguishes them from country or guest houses.
I stayed in a very comfortable, large bedroom across the car park from the pub and restaurant. The room was spotlessly clean and it was great to have an iron and ironing board available as I was travelling for work. I had a really delicious greek salad with grilled chicken for dinner - very fresh ingredients - served by friendly and attentive staff. I will be booking again. Thoroughly recommended.
Great breakfasts, dinners and comfortable room -no complaints here. I stay away a lot for work and try and find small hotels/pubs with room (rather than chains) mainly for the personal touch and for the atmosphere. Happily sat in the bar area after dinner, reading my book and enjoying a local beer!
Breakfast was great. Dinner on our arrival evening was lovely. We took our granddaughter for a birthday treat to see strictly come dancing in Manchester and stayed here instead of the city. So glad we did. The staff were lovely to her.
