Karen and her staff were very welcoming. Room was comfortable and well appointed. Good parking on site. Food good.
Perfect for rustic breaks in the countryside, an Inn is a small property with basic hotel services and typically traditional decor. Inns are fully licensed and have a bar providing food and drinks in the evening, which distinguishes them from country or guest houses.
Comfortable beds and excellent modern shower room in historic inn. Evening meal menu very good and food cooked to order. Plentiful cooked breakfast too. Great location as very close to theatre, cinemas and cathedral
If you like independent guest houses then this place is perfect. Had a ground floor room this time which I loved. (But I did like the room I had on tour with the smart tv)
Would choose here again if my usual premier inn was booked.
The dinner at the Cheshire Cat Inn was exceptional. Everything we had over the 3-night stay was delicious. The room at the annexe/Innkeeper's lodgings was very charming, clean, comfortable and very well appointed. All the staff were very friendly and helpful. We loved everything about this stay. Thank you!
Staff were all helpful and pleasant. Location was good for Chester and Liverpool visits. Clearer Instructions on how to find place would be helpful, as it was not signposted as Innkeepers Lodge it was signed posted Cheshire which was confusing.
We liked everything, we definitely made the best choice, being able to walk along the canal into Chester took 45/50 minutes, was so enjoyable..the park & ride is local, very handy. The staff at the hotel are so helpful and friendly, nothings too much trouble and our room was lovely...and the food is excellent, We can truly recommend the Innkeepers Lodge for your stay. We will be returning.
The character of the Inn is fabulous, including a ghost story! We stayed in the Penthouse suite which gave us plenty of room and a spacious bathroom. The roll top bath was great! It was good to be able to get a night cap before bed in such an historic inn too
