    The owners & staff & very friendly & helpful, Jason kindly carried my heavy bag up to our room on arrival..The food is exquisite with plenty of vegan dinner & desert options.The vegetables were lovely, there was celeriac which was a true delight as not often available. Bed was comfy & slept soundly. Shower hot & just perfect.

    the staff incredibly nice and helpful. Great quiet location, perfect with toddlers when the sun is out. The room was large The food (dinner and breakfast) was a little simplistic but still good and good value for money We would definitely recommend the place

    Good choice and freshly well cook breakfast. Ie cereal, orange juice and usual selection. Varied selection for dinner with fresh vegetables/salad. Excellent size portions, and variety of deserts all at very reaonable prices and excellent value. Plenty of hot water, but personally found the bed a little hard.

    Very friendly and welcoming, comfortable, beautiful surroundings, good food. The black forest gateau was worth driving 4 hours for! The host lit up the gazebo so we could sit outside after dinner which was lovely. There is a resident peacock!

    Clean linen with lots of towels and products in bathroom Very quiet room (even for a light sleeper) Very spacious room and living area/kitchen BBQ facilities (we didn’t use it though) A number of very good pubs nearby Hosts leave you to do your own thing but are available if needed Tip: The Bell at Broadway was the best local pub/restaurant for us. We didn’t like The Five Dials Inn (rude staff)

    Good welcome.All very efficient.Excellent dinner for us and two guests representing good value. Breakfast good.Interesting venue with working mill wheel.Water feature. Terrific site for weddings and large parties.Large car park. Will return when in the area.
