Each of the bedrooms at The Grapes has been recently refurbished to provide all modern comforts required for a comfortable and relaxing stay, whilst still retaining their original period features. Real log fires provide an inviting and cosy atmosphere for the cold winter evenings.

What a wonderful find, excellent location. Stunning view and a newly refurbished garden/patio. The staff and local customers were super friendly and the food was excellent and reasonably priced. We will be back..

The breakfast was good, staff good and prompt. The location was good. The back bar was comfortable and relaxing. The dinning area had a lot of glass and was very hot, staff was happy to move us. Staff serving on the bar told us it was a family run pub, restaurant and accommodation. Restaurant food in the evening was excellent quality. Pub garden amazing. Views fantastic and unbelievably great.

Great food at breakfast & dinner with most dishes prepared from local sources. Location ideal for walking and the property has a lovely back garden area to sit and take in the fabulous views. The staff are very good and made sure we had everything we needed over the two days.

Initial welcome was outstanding and the checkin straight forward, but what made it special was despite the kitchen being closed, a plate of ham and eggs chips and one with bbq ribs and chips was rustled up. The Guinness was also served well

Excellent breakfast, served hot and fresh each day - we ate dinner on two nights, the food was always hot and tasty and good value for money, served by friendly and efficient staff. We stayed in a 3 bedroomed suite, it was clean and freshly painted - good quality linen and well equipped kitchen.
