Me and a group of friends just spent the weekend at the Pheasant Inn. We had a fantastic time, the hotel is beautiful. Food really good, brilliant breakfast. Really good value for money. The staff were excellent and very welcoming, went above and beyond for our group. Well done Michelle and her team. We would return in a heartbeat. Many thanks Jason

Loved the area, good base for visiting the lakes and lots of local walks. Enjoyed daily breakfast choices and sitting in the garden listening to all the birds. Room was clean and comfortable and most of the staff were welcoming and attentive. The Dinner choices were very good but there is room for improvement; including veg with main meal instead of separate. Liked idea of drink iniciative for less room cleans to reduce carbon footprint as/when required by guests. Comfortable bed and complimentary toiletries.

Charming from the first moment, everyone went out of their way to make us feel welcome throughout our stay. The food was outstanding (both dinner and breakfast), great selection of drinks in a cosy bar, spacious rooms & beautiful grounds. There’s a range of thoughtful little touches, like home-baked shortbread with the tea & coffee supplies in the room or starched linen napkins at dinner. And the same warm hospitality was extended to our small children. We were very impressed and look forward to returning.

The location was lovely. It's a very popular pub, restaurant and hotel. The food at breakfast and especially dinner was delicious. The staff are friendly and everything was run efficiently. The room for 3 we had was spacious, nicely decorated and pet friendly.
