I loved this hotel great welcome lovely staff. Decor beautiful I cannot believe this was a 3 star hotel I would give it 5 star any day. Large comfortable room great large bath comfortable bed. I had a deluxe king. The food was first class. Altogether a great experience. Hope to visit again.

Perfect for rustic breaks in the countryside, an Inn is a small property with basic hotel services and typically traditional decor. Inns are fully licensed and have a bar providing food and drinks in the evening, which distinguishes them from country or guest houses.
Lovely staff, great hotel. Great welcome when we arrived. Loved our room... we had paid extra for an upgrade on the room... We ate dinner there both nights and the food was excellent. Breakfast was very good. We liked all the different rooms and bars downstairs. It's a great location.

Set in a lovely village in a perfect spot for our trip. Sun Inn just up the road was great for our evening entertainment.
Breakfast was included in the price and was very good. The Pheasant Inn is located near Bassenthwaite lake and there are some lovely walks straight from the door which is great for the family pet too!
Me and a group of friends just spent the weekend at the Pheasant Inn. We had a fantastic time, the hotel is beautiful. Food really good, brilliant breakfast. Really good value for money. The staff were excellent and very welcoming, went above and beyond for our group. Well done Michelle and her team. We would return in a heartbeat.
